WHY DJIBOUTI'S PIPELINE PROJECT WAS THE ALTERNATIVE TO SOUTH SUDAN ECONOMIC SOLUTION AMIDST SUDAN CONFLICT.
First it was a mistake not to work on alternative pipeline through Djibouti when war started 2years ago. Now that both parties (RSF and SAF) in Sudan know that we don't have any other options.... they're doing everything at their power to try to strangle government of South Sudan into joining the war(support one side). Either way, it's not good for us but government need to be prepared for what's coming. Sudan remains a friend we can't trust and if we really need to stand as a country,we must be intentional right from now with our projects to self reliance. Government spending has to be reduced significantly, diversifying our economy isn't longer a choice but a must do. In addition ,enacting strict laws to guide us through the winter that's about to come is a necessity and that's by criminalizing corruption at all government levels.
